The HL7 Connect software is now available for your Finapres® NOVA. It can be upgraded during its lifetime at any time.
Key points
- Compatible with every patient hospital system with the possibility of sending HL7 V2 ORM messages and to receive ACK messages in combination with our interface conformance profiles (which can be requested from us);
- Able to receive patient and appointment information;

HL7 Connect
HL7 Connect provides a central communication system within a network for various software and hardware applications. Health Level “7” refers to the seventh layer of the OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) model, also known as the application layer.
With HL7 Connect, Electronic Patient Records can be accessed. This opens the possibility for the Finapres® NOVA to retrieve patient information and directly upload this information from the HIS (Health Information System within a (hospital’s) network) into the prepare measurement screen with patient data of the Finapres® NOVA. Operators can create a schedule in the HIS and load this in the NOVA for a scheduled day of measurements. After the measurements are done, the HL7 Connect software allows the Finapres® NOVA to save the measurement reports (in PDF) in the EPR again in a secured way.
The HL7 Connect can be installed on all Finapres® NOVA systems with Windows 10 and up.
