Webinar “Cardiovascular autonomic dysfunction in the post-COVID landscape: detection and management”

On 23 February 2023, the webinar “Cardiovascular autonomic dysfunction in the post-COVID landscape: Detection and Management”  was held by InsideScientific and sponsored by Finapres Medical Systems.

The webinar highlights Cardiovascular dysautonomia as a specific sequalae of acute COVID-19 and guides the audience in the diagnostic work-up of PASC patients with suspected cardiovascular complications. The webinar is intended to give an understanding of the longer term effects of SARS-CoV-s infection in long-COVID, to outline how long COVID is associated with cardiovascular autonomic dysfunction and how long COVID could be diagnosed through the presence of autonomic dysfunction.

Expert in the field of cardiology Dr. Artur Fedorowski, senior consultant at Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm and associate professor at Lund University, gave the presentation which was followed by a Q&A round.
