Webinar “Initial Orthostatic Hypotension: Don’t Blink or You’ll Miss It”
On the 6th of October 2021, from 5-6 PM CET (11-12 AM EDT), the webinar “Initial Orthostatic Hypotension: Don’t Blink or You Will Miss It” was organized by Inside Scientific and sponsored by Finapres Medical Systems!
During this webinar, Satish Raj, MD, MSCI and Nasia Sheikh, MSc from the University of Calgary briefly overviewed Initial Orthostatic Hypotension (IOH), including diagnostic criteria, differential diagnosis, and common presentations. They shared some recent research findings on the hemodynamic mechanisms underlying IOH. Lastly, they offered some insights into non-pharmacological approaches to the management of patients with IOH from recent studies. At the end of the webinar, there was a LIVE Q&A round!
