PORTAPRES®
>> FMS Product Brochure
Portapres is a portable Finapres technology based on an advanced non-invasive blood pressure measurement and beat to beat haemodynamic monitoring system with the capability of automatically retrieving other important haemodynamic parameters when used together with the BeatScope® software.
Besides cardiac, neurological and physiological clinical and research applications, Portapres can be used for sleep research and a wide range of pharmacological and haemodynamic research or monitoring in both ambulatory and stationary settings.
BeatScope software
The Portapres measurements can be transferred to a PC for beat to beat analysis with BeatScope to obtain brachial pressure waveforms and cardiac parameters using the ModelFlow cardiac output method.
The following data is computed for every heart beat:
- Cardiac output
- Stroke volume
- Ventricular ejection time
- Peripheral resistance
- Systolic, diastolic and mean blood pressure
- Heart rate
- Inter-beat interval
- The instant of upstroke
- Aortic characteristic impedance and aortic compliance
Key features:
- Real-time monitoring and control
- Data review and computation
- Data import/export
- Statistical analysis and summary
